Job photos taken on site

When your organization requires it, photos for jobs are taken with the app's camera, on site, with one location check at the moment of the photo.

Some organizations require that photos for jobs are taken on site, while you do the job. When yours does, the job screen says Job photos are taken with the camera, on site.

What changes#

  • Use Take photo. Choosing a photo from the library is not offered for jobs.
  • Right after you take the photo, the app checks your location once. This is not tracking: it is only for the moment of the photo, and it is sent with the photo.
  • If you are on site, the photo is added. Managers see Taken on site and the time.

If it says Out of bounds#

"Photos for jobs have to be taken on site. You're outside the grounds right now." The photo is not kept. Take it again when you are on site.

Other messages#

  • Job photos need your location: press Allow location and allow it while using the app. Without it, no job photo is possible.
  • Location not precise enough or could not find its location: step outside or near a window, then try again.
  • Location could not be confirmed: an app on your phone is changing the location. Turn it off and try again.
  • Check your phone's date and time: the phone's clock is wrong; fix it and take the photo again.

Photos taken while you have no connection are sent later. They are still accepted if they were taken during work hours, up to three days later.

Photos you add when you report a problem are not job photos and are not checked.
