Install the apps
Get the Android app, add the web app to your phone's home screen or your computer, and sign in. iPhone and Google Play are coming.

You can use Operacora three ways. They all use the same account, so you can mix them: many managers use the web app on a computer and the phone app when they walk around.
| Option | Best for | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Android app | Workers and managers with an Android phone. Clock in and out, scan room codes, work without signal. | Download it from operacora.com/download. Google Play Coming. |
| iPhone app | The same, on iPhone. | Coming on the App Store. Until then, use the web app. |
| Web app | Managers on a computer or tablet; anyone in a browser. | Open app.operacora.com and sign in. You can install it like an app (below). |
Android: install the app#
The Android app comes as an APK file, the standard Android install file, downloaded straight from operacora.com. The download page shows the latest version and walks you through it step by step. The short version:
- On your Android phone, open operacora.com/download in Chrome and tap Download for Android.
- Open the downloaded file. If Android says your browser is not allowed to install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, and go back.
- Tap Install, then Open, and sign in.
About "Install unknown apps": Android asks before letting any app other than Google Play install apps. The permission is only for the browser you used, and you can turn it off again right after installing: Settings › Apps › Chrome › Install unknown apps. Only install Operacora from operacora.com.
The app needs Android 7 or newer. After that it keeps itself up to date: see Keeping Operacora up to date.
iPhone and iPad#
The iPhone app is Coming. Until it is ready, add the web app to your home screen so it opens like an app:
- Open app.operacora.com in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
The web app does not clock you in or scan room codes; those need the phone app.
Install the web app on Android#
- Open app.operacora.com in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap the menu (⋮), then Add to Home screen or Install app, and confirm.
Install the web app on a computer#
In Chrome or Microsoft Edge, open app.operacora.com. If your browser offers it, choose the install button at the right end of the address bar, or the menu, then Install or Apps › Install this site as an app. Operacora then opens in its own window and has its own icon. In other browsers, a bookmark works just as well.
Sign in with the email address or phone number your organization set up for you, and your password. If you forgot your password, ask your manager. You normally stay signed in on that device until you press Sign out.
Your organization's own name and logo appear inside the app; "Operacora" is the app itself.
