Where everyone is

A list of the people ranked below you and where they are, from a scanned room code, the building they are in while clocked in, or their latest work.

On the Floor plan page, managers get a Where everyone is panel listing the people ranked below them. Peers and people above you are never listed.

The Where everyone is panel: an explanation, then Dario M. in the Office, Girls, Floor 1, finished a job there; Pablo R. in Room 8, Boys, Floor 1; and two people with no job placed on a plan yet.
Each line says where the information comes from and when.

Where the information comes from#

Operacora uses the best information it has, and always says which it used:

  1. While clocked in, with location turned on: the room whose code they last scanned, or otherwise the building (or named outdoor area) the phone says they are in. See Location while clocked in.
  2. Otherwise, from their work: the room of the last job they finished, or else their most urgent open job.
  3. If none of these is known, it says so ("No job placed on a plan yet").

Click a name to open the right building and floor, zoom to the room and mark the person there.

What it is not#

  • It is not live GPS tracking. Exact GPS positions are never stored or shown; only the building or named area.
  • Nothing is shared while a person is clocked out, and nothing when your organization has location turned off. Then the list uses work records only.

People who are outside, in a named outdoor area, also show on the grounds map under On the grounds now.
