Delete your Operacora account
How to delete an account in Operacora, the work app made by Unified Array LLC, and what happens to the data.
Operacora accounts belong to organizations (a school, a property manager, a maintenance company). Your organization created your account and is responsible for the information in it, so it is part of every request.
If you use Operacora at work
- Ask your organization's Operacora administrator (usually your manager) to remove you. In Operacora they open Settings › People, choose your name and press Deactivate. You are signed out on every device at once and can no longer sign in.
- To have your personal details erased as well, email hello@operacora.com from the email address on your account (or ask your administrator to), with the subject "Delete my Operacora account" and the name of your organization.
- We confirm the request with your organization and reply within 30 days.
If you run an organization
An administrator can email hello@operacora.com from an administrator's email address to delete the whole organization and all of its data. We can send you an export first.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: your sign-in details (email address, phone number, password), your notification settings and phone notification tokens, and your location records.
- Location records are also deleted automatically after the period your organization sets (30 days unless it chooses otherwise), whether or not you ask.
- Kept by your organization: work records that belong to it, such as the jobs you worked on, their photos and notes, and timesheets, which may still show your name. They are kept for as long as the organization keeps its records or the law requires, and are deleted when the organization is deleted.
- Backups: deleted information can remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it is gone for good.
