Privacy
This page explains, in plain words, what information Operacora keeps and how it is used. Operacora is used by organizations (for example a school or a property company) to run their work. Each organization decides who joins its workspace and what goes into it.
What we keep
- Account details for the people an organization adds: name, email or phone number, role, and a protected (hashed) password. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Work records the organization creates: jobs, rooms, floor plans, notes, photos and videos, and who did what and when.
- Messages sent in to an organization's texting number or email address, so they can become jobs.
- Basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service. We do not put job contents or photos in logs.
What we do not do
- We do not sell information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- We do not track workers' live location.
- This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses one sign-in cookie, only on app.operacora.com.
Who can see it
Each organization's information is kept separate from every other organization's. Inside an organization, people see only what their role allows. Photos and files are never public links; each one is checked against the viewer's permission every time it is opened.
Services an organization connects
An organization may connect its own texting, email or AI accounts. When it does, the information needed for that feature goes to that provider under the organization's own account and that provider's terms. AI features only run when someone asks for them.
Where it is stored
Operacora runs on a major cloud provider's infrastructure, with information encrypted in transit and at rest.
Keeping and deleting
Information is kept while the organization uses Operacora. An organization can ask us to export or delete its information. A person can ask their organization, or us, to see or correct the information about them.
